About Dr.Liang

Liang, Kin C. (Chin Chuan) LAc, PhD Lic # Ac 2225

Dr. Liang is a U.S. citizen; born and raised in Taiwan.  He went to a pharmacy school majored in pharmaceutical sciences, and studied traditional Western and Chinese medicine.  He worked several years in a government health care agency in Taiwan after graduating from school.  He and his family immigrated to the United States in the early 1980s.  In the U.S. he organized a group of Chinese medicine doctors who shared the same inspiration and common goal of bringing traditional Chinese medicine, medication and acupuncture treatment to the mainstream culture.  Since then, Dr. Liang has devoted more than 40 years to Chinese medical technology development and innovations.  His research includes combing Chinese and Western methods for new treatment, testing and improving traditional medicine as well as designing novel individually sealed package for Chinese medicine etc.  Dr. Liang has traveled to Nepal, South Africa and other developing countries providing charity care in 1992.  He achieved the record of treating 2,500 patients in a single month during the trips.

In his early years in the States, Dr. Liang worked as a director for the first Chinese medicine pharmaceutical factory in California and as a marketing consultant for a new Chinese medicine development firm.  He then earned a PhD degree in Oriental Medicine and Immunology from Yuin University in Southern California and was employed as a professor by a Chinese Medicine Acupuncture School to train skilled Acupuncturist and oriental medicine practitioners.

Dr. Liang spent years researching new herbal formulas in Chinese medicine and developing novel Chinese medical diagnosis technology.  His experiment achieved a breakthrough in 1995.  He discovered a technique to detect allergens in about 3-5 minutes using patient’s energy sample.  He continued the R&D process and subsequently reached another milestone by inventing a 10 minutes allergen Qi modulating therapy.  This procedure is highly effective in healing all type of difficult-to-treat diseases.  It brings enormous hope to countless people who have suffered rare, chronic or other incurable diseases.

Dr. Liang operates two private clinics in the Los Angeles area.  He is highly regarded by his fellow Chinese medicine practitioners in the Chinese communities.  He has given many public speeches and made appearances in various Chinese TV shows and radio interviews educating the general public about essential health information.  He actively participates in the community services and provides free clinics regularly during his spare time.  He was elected the chairman of the California Chinese Medicine Association (CAAM) that has over 400 members (2002-2004).  Under his leadership, the association aggressively lobbying the legislators and members of regulatory agencies, and strove to promote the status of traditional Chinese medicine and the -legitimacy of Chinese acupuncturists in the United States.  The association also published its first edition of its colored newsletter during his tenure.

In addition, Dr. Liang has rescued many strangers unexpectedly during life-threatening emergencies.  One of the incidents took place while he was attending the World Outstanding Chinese Awards in Diaoyutai Hotel in Beijing in 2004.  He saved a female guest who suffered a serious asthma attack during the after ceremony entertainment program.  Dr. Liang is also highly regarded by flight crew of Evergreen and China Airline as he has treated critically ill passengers several times during the flight as he is a frequent flyer between LA and Taipei.

Dr. Liang has also had numerous successful cases of helping stroke and cerebral hemorrhage patients’ recovery in ICU upon patient family members’ urgent request.  He is the first Chinese medicine doctor treated critical ill patients in U.S. hospitals such as Boston Children's Hospital of Harvard Medical School in Massachusetts, St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton California, and Sutter Roseville Medical Center in Sacramento California etc.  The effects of Dr. Liang’s treatment are often immediate and measurable by modern medical equipment.  His patients are able to make speedy recovery in a way that baffled Western medical doctors and other specialties.  Dr. Liang has truly created a miracle in Chinese medicine!

But this road has not been easy. Dr. Liang’s goal has always been take traditional Chinese Medicine into the future and to prevent it’s stagnation. As a result, his innovations have at times been seen as controversial by the traditionalists in the Chinese medicine community. However because of the effectiveness of his innovations, Dr. Liang plans to persevere.
